Return of Title IV Funds on the Web helps you calculate and manage the treatment of funds when a student withdraws from the following Title IV programs:

* The FFEL/Direct PLUS (Graduate Student) Loans, the Academic Competitiveness Grant and the National SMART Grant are tracked separately on Return of Title IV Funds student records with a withdrawal date on or after July 1, 2006. See note below for more information.

** TEACH Grants are tracked separately on Return of Title IV Funds student records with a withdrawal date on or after July 1, 2008. See note below for more information.

Data is collected, and the Return of Title IV Funds is calculated according to ED's Student Assistance General Provisions.

Note: The Return of Title IV Funds Web site uses different worksheets to perform calculations for R2T4 and Post-Withdrawal Disbursement student records, depending on the student’s withdrawal date. Different fields will appear, and different calculations may be made, depending on the worksheet version you are using. Note the following guidelines:
