Parents' Housing, Food, & Living Allowances

Previous

This is question 94g on the FAFSA.

The response indicates the total cash value of housing, food, and any other living allowances that the student's parents received in 2015. Benefits of this type are often paid to members of the military, clergy, and others. If the student's parents received free room and board in 2015 for a job that was not awarded to them as student financial aid, its value must be included in this figure.

Rent subsidies for low-income housing, the value of on-base military housing or the value of a basic military allowance for housing should not be included.
